The brief
Edna Sey asked us to design the packaging for two of her albums, “Just Being Myself” and “Stay Focused”: two personal works that needed a warm, approachable look in keeping with her voice.
She needed packaging that could put her photography at the centre, with enough room for the lyrics and credits, and that kept a recognisable visual thread between the two releases.
The solution
We designed the digipak and booklet for both albums around Edna Sey's portrait photography, with clean typefaces and a distinct colour palette for each album that marks its own personality.
For “Stay Focused” we created a longer booklet, with a mosaic of portraits and the lyrics of each song laid out across double-page spreads, inviting listeners to read along as they listen.
The result is warm, personal packaging for each album that places Edna Sey's voice and image at the heart of the physical object.
