The brief
Udon asked us to create the visual identity for its Tenth Franchisee Convention, the annual gathering that brings together the brand's whole family of franchisees, this time at Casa Seat.
It needed graphics that would make an impact in the venue from the very first moment and could be rolled out across all kinds of media —stage design, signage, badges, merchandise— without losing consistency. But above all, it had to tell a story: the convention wasn't just a meeting, but the celebration of shared growth.
The solution
We started from the lucky cat —the maneki-neko, an Asian symbol of good fortune and wellbeing— to talk about the prosperous future Udon and its franchisees are building together.
We added the X as a second brand element: a mark that signals "the here and now", because good luck isn't a promise for the future, it's now, and it comes from being part of the Udon family.
We rolled this system out across every application at the event: the auditorium screens and stage set, the cut-out letters with the Udon logo, lecterns and photocalls, tote bags for every attendee, and badges and credentials personalised with each franchisee's name.
The result is an event where the brand can be felt in every corner —from the stage to every attendee's chair— with a festive tone and an identity that's recognisable at a glance.
